Anglicare Gordon | Display Suite 3

I recently had the privilege of working with Anglicare Marketing on the design of three display suites, and am thrilled to share with you the design journey of the third suite, the "Man's Room."

Set amidst the trees at Gordon, the Roden Cutler Lodge was the perfect backdrop for incorporating the natural beauty of the outdoors into the interior design.

Having already created a display suite with feminine elements, we then looked at creating a space for a male, hence the "Man's Room". Our goal was to create a space that was not only stylish and comfortable, but also reflective of the stunning surroundings. To achieve this, we incorporated natural colors, textures, and elements of local wildlife, such as blues, greens, and Australian birds. We also included some masculine elements such as the old-school clock on the bedside table, a tan leather notebook, a deck of cards and some Anzacs in the cannister in the snack area.

To enhance the design in each of the display rooms, we also added a signature scent from The Raconteur, specialists in Australian botanics. The addition of scent is a unique design element that is often overlooked but adds another layer of sensory experience. Incorporating a signature scent can help to improve the atmosphere and create a more pleasant environment.

The final result was a space that was both sophisticated and inviting, and we were thrilled to see the positive response from visitors who were inspired by the design. If you're looking for a way to bring the outdoors into your home, look at incorporating natural materials and textures, as well as a color palette inspired by nature.

Signature Scent: Bondi 2 by The Raconteur; with elements of Australian Lemon, giant fern, black pepper, wild herbs, labdanum.
